Distribution: India, Java, Lombok


Description: Cephalothorax longer than broad, black; cephalic region in the median portion darker and also raised. Cephalic portion narrower and thoracic portion wider. Sternum longer than wide, dark brown, heart shaped, tapering posteriorly, slightly narrowed at coxa I. Chelicerae dark reddish brown. Legs black, palp also similar to legs in colour. Coxae I-IV lighter than sternum in colour. Abdomen longer than wide, elliptical, black with dirty white patches. Dorsum with lateral dark patches on either side. Three pairs of sigilla, posterior one smaller than anterior ones. Ventrum pale. Epigyne with an extended M shaped sclerotised portion.



Natural History: Build fairly large sheet webs in low vegetation.
